Beppe si guadagnò il pezzo di carta con il quale guadagnarsi la vita. Era la via giusta da intraprendere ? Lui era appassionato di viaggi, filosofie orientali, tradizioni e folklori arcani e misteriosi... e si mise a costruire palazzi e case.  Ma la vita non è un sogno. La triste realtà era quella di immergersi nella calce e nei mattoni,  cemento armato e  isolanti, fondamenta e tetti ( forse era meglio maschile e femminile anziché femminile e maschile ... capito il giochetto di parole? Nooo? Non importa).

Beppe earned the piece of paper with which to earn a living. Was it the right path to take? He was fond of travel, eastern philosophies, hidden and mysterious traditions and folklore... and began to build buildings and houses. Life is not a dream. The sad reality was to immerse himself in bricks and mortar, concrete and insulation, foundations and roofs.... 

La nuova vita stava prendendo corpo. Il lavoro in uno studio affermato di architettura andava per il meglio e Beppe trovava entusiasmo nel progettare nuovi palazzi e nuovi arredamenti. Il cemento armato era alla base di tutto il suo lavoro e le formule di portata, carico di rottura, carico di sicurezza, armature e staffe erano le parole di casa. Insieme al lavoro, Beppe si specializzava in filosofie orientali, accomunando cemento armato con Kong Fu Tze, piastrelle e Lao Tze, soffitti con Chuang Tze ...  Ed ebbe inizio l'era dei viaggi. Circolavano un po' di soldini ed era intuibile che la passione dei viaggi e l'approfondimento dello studio filosofico dell'Estremo oriente spingesse Beppe fuori dei ristretti confini italici. La gioventù faceva prediligere le crociere, un misto di esplorazione e divertimento, ma l'avventura lo avvicinava al grande Oriente.

The new life was growing. The work in one well known group of architecture was for the best and Beppe was overjoyed by designing new houses and new furniture. The concrete was the basis for all his work and the formulas of flow, tensile strength, load security, armor and brackets were the words of the house. Together with work, Beppe specialized in Eastern philosophies, uniting Kong Fu Tze with reinforced concrete, tiles and Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu and ceilings ... And the era of travel began . A bit of pennies was circulating and it was understandable that the travel passion of  Beppe pushed out of the narrow Italic borders. The youth did prefer the cruises, a mixture of exploration and fun as well, but the adventurous mind pushed to the big Far East.

Beppe era un irrequieto e non gli si addiceva la vita sedentaria di ufficio e di progettazione. Cambiò lavoro e si interessò di impianti elettrici, automazione di macchine ed elettronica primordiale. Erano i tempi in cui il Giappone si affacciava all' Europa come area di conquista. Beppe fu affascinato dagli occhi a mandorla e dal sorriso sempre stampato su quelle facce tutte uguali. Vinse un premio come miglior distributore Omron Electronics  in Italia e fu invitato a Tokyo per una riunione mondiale di distributori. Fu un evento che segnò tutta la sua vita futura. Beppe il viaggiatore sognante divenne viaggiatore vero su un aereo DC8 per una trasvolata che durò 24 ore. Da Milano ad Amsterdam, da Amsterdam ad Ankorage ed infine arrivo a Tokyo, dopo aver trasvolato il Polo Nord. Un' impresa da ricordare tutta la vita. Beppe non era mai salito prima su un aereo...

Arrivò a Tokyo, fu portato poi a Kyoto, Osaka ( dove visitò la sua prima Expo ) ed infine ad Atami Spa, nota città turistica famosa per il fatto che tutti gli ospiti dovevano andare in giro per la città con la vestaglia da camera dell ' hotel ( ma sono dettagli ). Durante il volo, ad Ankorage, incontrò un aereo militare americano in scalo,  con i reduci della guerra del Vietnam e rimase impressionato dalle facce dei soldati americani... Correva l'anno 1970 ( nota: i giapponesi mettono sempre l'accento sulla vocale finale della parola, quindi pronuncia Tokyò, Kyotò, Osakà...arigatò..e.. perchè nò...)

Beppe was a restless and not befitting the office of a sedentary lifestyle and design . He changed work and became interested in electrical , machine automation and primordial electronics. Those were the days when Japan looked to Europe as an area of conquest. Beppe was fascinated with the almond eyes and the smile always printed on those faces, all the same. He won an award for best Omron Electronics distributor in Italy and was invited to Tokyo for a meeting of  worldwide distributors. It was an event that marked his whole future life. Beppe, the dreamy traveler, became real traveler on a DC8 aircraft for a flight that lasted 24 hours. From Milan to Amsterdam, then Ankorage and Tokyo, finally , after flew over the North Pole. An undertaking travel to remember all your life. Beppe had never been on a plane ...
He arrived in Tokyo , then was brought to Kyoto, Osaka ( where he visited the Expo) and finally to Atami Spa , a tourist city famous for the fact that all the guests had to go around the city with the dressing gown of the hotel ( but details). During the flight, in Ankorage , he met an American military plane at the airport, with the veterans of the Vietnam War and was impressed by the faces of the American soldiers ... It was in 1970. ( Note: Japanese people put the accent on the final vowel of the word, so say Tokyò, Kyotò, Osakà, arigatò...) 

A scuola “ Pierino, cosa è più importante per noi, il sole o la luna?” “ La luna signora maestra, perché ci dà la luce quando è notte ed è buio. Invece il sole ci da la luce quando è giorno e non ce n’è bisogno perché è già chiaro”.

At school, "Peter, what is most important for us, the sun or the moon?" "The moon lady teacher, because it gives us the light when it's night and it's dark. Instead the sun gives us light when it is day and do not need it because it is already clear. "

Il Papa si reca negli Stati Uniti e durante un trasferimento vuole guidare personalmente la sua limousine. Richiesta strana, ma che si fa? Allora va al volante e l’autista si siede dietro. Entra in autostrada e comincia a schiacciare a tavoletta superando abbondantemente i limiti di velocità. Viene inseguito e fermato dalla polizia. L’agente vede il Papa al volante ed è un po’ imbarazzato. Non sapendo che fare chiama il suo Capo. “ Signor colonnello ho fermato per multarlo una persona molto ma molto importante, Che faccio?” “ E chi sarebbe, il Presidente?” “ No molto di,più” “ Oddio, il Segretario generale dell’ONU?” “ No più importante…” “ Ma insomma chi può essere? “ Ed il poliziotto “ Veramente non so, ma deve essere dannatamente importante perché ha come autista il Papa “

The Pope visits the United States and, during a transfer , wants to personally lead his limousine. Strange request, but what can we do? Then it goes to the steering wheel and the driver sits behind. They Enter the highway and the pope begins to crush a tablet which largely exceeds the speed limit. They are chased and stopped by the police. The agent sees the Pope at the steering wheel and is a little 'embarrassed. Not knowing what to do calls his head. "Mr. Colonel I stopped to fine a very but very important person, what do I do?" "And who he would be : the President?" "No much more" "Oh God, the UN Secretary-General?" "No more important ... "" But then who can he be? "And the policeman," I really do not know, but it must be damn important because he has the Pope as a driver"

Agli inizi degli anni novanta, una serie di indagini giudiziarie condotte a livello nazionale nei confronti di esponenti della politica, dell'economia e delle istituzioni italiane, portarono alla luce un sistema di corruzione, concussione e finanziamento illecito ai partiti ai livelli più alti del mondo politico e finanziario italiano  detto Tangentopoli. Furono coinvolti ministri, deputati, senatori, imprenditori, perfino ex presidenti del Consiglio.

Beppe intanto si era distinto già in alcune opere che ora è inutile ricordare ed era stato insignito del titolo di Cavaliere al Merito della Repubblica dall'allora Presidente Cossiga nel 1988. Ebbe riconoscimenti di lavoro in Giappone ed entrò in contatto con il Sindaco di New York, Rudolph Giuliani e la allora sig.ra Clinton Illary, durante una delle sue numerose visite alla città Statunitense.

Alle elezioni amministrative del 1993 si vota al Comune di Gambolò.

La Lega, partito nato da poco in contrasto con i vecchi partiti coinvolti in Tangentopoli,  candida a sindaco Beppe. Lui vince facilmente le elezioni al primo turno. La conquista della poltrona a sindaco di Gambolò è per la Lega Nord il fiore all'occhiello di una fortunata tornata di elezioni amministrative. Vengono conquistati diversi comuni del Settentrione.

Si apre un'era di battaglia contro la corruzione, il lassismo ed il clientelismo. Ma l'illusione di trasformare il mondo politico fallisce miseramente ed i nuovi arrivati vengono man mano travolti da un sistema che non  vuole morire. Beppe, novello Coriolano,  non si abbassa allo strapotere della corruzione ed abbandona sdegnato la politica.

In the early nineties, a number of judicial investigations conducted at national level against representatives of Italian politics, economy and institutions , brought to light a system of corruption, extortion and illegal financing of political parties at the highest levels in the political and financial Italian sworld, said Tangentopoli. There were involved ministers, deputies, senators, businessmen, even former premiers.
Beppe, meanwhile, excelled in some works that is now useless to remember , was awarded with the title of Cavaliere ( Sir ) of the Italian Republic  by the President Cossiga in 1988. Was honored for his work in Japan and came into contact with the Mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani and Mrs Clinton Illary, during his several visits to the US city.  During 1993 year there was the vote for Mayor of the City of Gambolò. The North League, a party recently born in contrast to the old parties involved in Tangentopoli, ran for Mayor Beppe, who have joined the movement since one year. Beppe easily won the election on the first round. The conquest of the chair for mayor of Gambolò, for the Northern League, was the flagship of a successful round of elections. They conquered several cities of the north. An era of struggle against corruption, laxity and cronyism was going to be opened. But the illusion of transforming the political Italian world failed miserably and newcomers were gradually overwhelmed by a system that will not die. Beppe, new Coriolano,  did not lowered himself  to the excessive power of corruption and abandoned, angry, the politics.

Beppe fu un appassionato collezionista di oggetti orientali. Viaggiando molto spesso in Vietnam, negli anni '90, ebbe l'opportunità di conoscere collezionisti locali con i quali, ben presto, nacquero rapporti di amicizia e di scambi. Il Vietnam aveva racimolato molte opere dalla Cina, dalla Cambogia e dal Laos, oltre che vietnamite, a seguito delle guerre che si erano combattute in quei Paesi nel corso degli anni precedenti.

Alcune di queste opere sono originali , altre copie molto ben realizzate.

Qui vediamo una statua in terracotta, Dinastia Tang, nei classici colori verde, blu e marrone. La statua rappresenta una figura di donna con bambino con la faccia nera. Questa strana configurazione è dovuta al fatto che per la prima volta le popolazioni cinesi si incontravano con navigatori africani di pelle nera. La statua è accompagnata da figure degli otto immortali ( ba xian ) : He Xianghu, Cao Guojiu, Li Tieguai, Lan Caihe, Lu Dongbin, Han Xiangzi, Zhang Guolao, e Zhong Liquan;   e delle tre divinità  Fu,Lu,Shuo ( felicità, benessere e longevità )

Abbiamo poi ( vedi fotografie sotto )una figura del poeta Bai Juyi  (Li Bo) , famoso perchè ha scritto le sue migliori opere quando era ubriaco. Due statue lignee Khmer ( XVI secolo )provenienti da Angkor Vat, Cambogia, un portapennelli dinastia Ming, imperatore Cheng (XV secolo ), un vaso bianco/marrone dinastia Qing, imperatore GuangXu, un vaso nero Meiping, dinastia Song.

Alcune ciotole celadon, due vasi porcellana Famille Vert ed alcune porcellane bianco blu fine dinastia Qing.

Infine un prezioso tanka tibetano su pelle di yak, con scritte autentiche di monaci del XVI secolo

Beppe was an avid collector of oriental objects. Often traveling in Vietnam, in the 90s, he had the opportunity to meet with local collectors who, very soon, born friendship and exchanges. Vietnam had collected many works from China, Cambodia and Laos, as well as Vietnamese, as a result of the wars that were fought in these countries over the previous years. Some of these works are original, other copies very well done.
Here we see a terracotta statue, Tang Dynasty, in classic colors green, blue and brown. The statue represents the figure of a woman with a child with a black face. This strange configuration is due to the fact that for the first time the Chinese populations met with  black Africans surfers. The statue is accompanied by figures of the eight Immortals ( ba xian ):  

He Xianghu, Cao Guojiu, Li Tieguai, Lan Caihe, Lu Dongbin, Han Xiangzi, Zhang Guolao, e Zhong Liquan;   and the three gods  Fu,Lu,Shuo ( happiness, prosperity, longevity ).
Then we have ( see below pictures ) a figure of the poet Li Bo, famous because he wrote his best work when he was drunk. Two Khmer wooden statue ( XVI century ) from Angkor Vat, Cambodia, a brush holder Ming Dinasty, Emperor Cheng (XV century ), a vase white / brown Qing Dynasty Emperor Guangxu, a black vase Meiping, Song Dynasty .
Some celadon bowls, two porcelain Famille Vert vases and some blue porcelain late Qing Dynasty.
Finally a precious Tibetan tanka of yak skin, with autentic writings of monks of the sixteenth century
