Beppe lavorava, guadagnava, spendeva, studiava...Beppe era irrequieto. Lo spicchio di mondo in cui era relegato comprimeva il suo spirito libero e vagabondo, sempre in cerca di nuove emozioni. Una casa con fondamenta fissata al terreno non era il suo habitat naturale. Ebbe Beppe progenitori nomadi ? Chi sa se nel XII secolo i suoi antenati parteciparono alle crociate in terra santa ?  Lui non aveva di questi interrogativi. Acquistò un caravan e decise di girare l'Europa in lungo ed in largo. Visitò Capo Nord, Svezia, Norvegia, Finlandia, Isole Far Oer, Islanda, Inghilterra, Scozia, Turchia...ecc... Oh, non tutto insieme, un po' per volta. Ebbe numerosi compagni di carovana nelle sue peregrinazioni. Pranzò di fronte a Versailles, cenò davanti alle abitazioni rupestri della Cappadocia, dormì ai piedi del castello di Windsor..

Fu spettatore a Vik in Islanda alla lavorazione di una balena da poco catturata, si esaltò al sole di mezzanotte di Nord Kapp in Norvegia, fu divorato dalle zanzare di Rovaniemi in Finlandia, si inerpicò sul monte Nemrut Dagi della Turchia per ammirare le rovine della tomba di di Antioco I Commagene, vide l'Italia vincere il campionato del mondo di calcio del 1982 in Spagna, percorse, con tappe, numerose, la strada dei vini di Rudesheim in Germania. Fece Capodanno a Torremolinos e Pasqua a Sarajevo. In Islanda si accampò davanti al geiser Strokkur, vide Stonehenge, il military Tattoo al castello di Edimburgo, comprò cose agli Harrods di Londra, salì i 719 gradini della Tour Eiffel a Parigi. E quando non guidava, se ne andava in nave od in aereo. Visitò le isole spagnole, Tangeri, Agadir, Marrakesh, il corso del Nilo da sud a nord, con le navi. Volò in Egitto, alle Seychelles, in Kenya, di qua e di là, a zonzo tra zebre, leoni ed elefanti...Fu a Newyork, vide le cascate del Niagara ed il Canada,  il Messico ed il Brasile...Mosca, Leningrado, la Russia europea e quella asiatica, l'antica Samarcanda, la nuova Tashkent con l'antica Kiva.

... insomma tante cosette insignificanti, finchè arrivò ... l'Asia , la Cina e ciò che le sta intorno.

Beppe was working , earning , spending , studying ... Beppe was restless. The piece of the world in which it was relegated was compressing his free spirit and wanderer , always in search of new emotions. A house with foundations attached to the land was not his natural habitat. Got Beppe nomadic ancestors ? Who knows if in the twelfth century his ancestors participated in the Crusades in the Holy Land ? He had not such questions. He bought a caravan and decided to travel Europe in long and wide. He visited North Cape , Sweden, Norway , Finland, Faroe Islands , Iceland , England, Scotland , Turkey ... etc. ... Oh, not all at once , step by step. He had numerous companions of the caravan in his wanderings . He got lunch in front of Versailles, dined in front of the dwelling caves of Cappadocia, slept at the foot of Windsor Castle ..
He was  spectator at Vik in Island of the processing of a whale recently captured , he extolled the midnight sun of North Kapp  in Norway, was devoured by mosquitoes in Rovaniemi  of Finland, climbed on Nemrut Dagi mount in Turkey to admire the ruins of Antiochus I of Commagene' s tomb , saw Italy winner of the football World Cup of 1982 in Spain, traveled with stages, many, the wine trail of Rudesheim , Germany. He got New Year Eve in Torremolinos and Estar in Sarajevo. In Iceland camped in front of the Strokkur  geyser, saw Stonehenge in UK, the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle, climbed to 719 steps of the Eiffel Tower in paris...And, when he was not dryving, he was going by ship or by airplane. He flew to Egypt, Seichelles, Kenya, from here to there, wondering among zebras, lions and elephants.-.He was in Newyork, saw Niagara falls and Canada, Mexico and Brasil... Moscow, Leningrad, European and Asiatic Soviet Union, the ancient Samarcanda and the new Tashkent with the ancient Kiva... so many little insignificant things, until ... Asia and China , and everything was around,  arrived.

Abbiamo visto che Beppe fu, ed è, un grande appassionato di viaggi. Non potendo però portare il mondo a casa sua, decise di portare casa sua nel mondo. Iniziò così l'era itinerante. Acquistò un autocaravan, poi un altro, infine un terzo, e cominciò a scorrazzare attraverso l'Europa ed un pezzo dell'Asia minore. Una delle prime mete fu il tradizionale Nord Kapp. Ormai ci andavano tutti. Passò attraverso Svizzera, Germania, Olanda, Danimarca, Svezia, Norvegia e si imbarcò sul traghetto che lo depositò sugli scogli di NorKapp. Era mezzanotte ed il sole splendeva. Già, il famoso sole di mezzanotte.

In seguito si imbarcò di nuovo per la Islanda, passando attraverso le solite Svizzera, Germania, Danimarca. Fu traghettato alle isole Faroer e poi finalmente fu deposto in Islanda. Quindici giorni furono sufficienti a raggiungere tutti i luoghi interessanti di questa terra di fuoco. Ghiacciai che arrivano al mare, geiser che arrivano al cielo, balene che arrivano...alle fabbriche per essere lavorate.

We have seen that Beppe was, and is, a great lover of travel. When he could not bring the world to his house, he decided to bring his house to the world. Thus began the era of traveling. He bought a motorhome, then another, and finally a third one, and began to roam across Europe and a piece of MiddleEast. One of the first trip was the traditional Nord Kapp. By now everybody were all going. He passed through Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and embarked on the ferry that deposited him on the rocks of Norkapp. It was midnight and the sun was shining. Yes, the famous midnight sun. 

Later he sailed back to Iceland, going through the usual Switzerland, Germany, Denmark. It was ferried to the Faroe Islands and then finally was deposed in Iceland. Fifteen days were enough to reach all the main attractions of this land of fire. Glaciers that reach the sea, geysers that reach the sky, whales that reach... factories to be processed.
